4 Reasons For Feeding Your Dog Really Well

Your dog can be a pooch or a rescue, but feeding your dog right and giving them the right nutrition is essential for her/his well being in the long term. Here is why you should ensure that your dog gets all s/he needs to wag that tail harder next time!

  1. YOUR DOGGO IS YOUR FAMILY

When you bring home a ball of fluff and cuddles the first time, it may seem like a small addition to your daily routine but soon, as time goes by really fast, you will realize how integral a part of your family your pet becomes.

You must take care of a dog just like you would if you had a child, with utmost love and goodwill. Doing so will give your dog what s/he needs while making her/him comfortable with you, your family and the environment.

With the endless dose of love that you are going to give your dog, be sure you are providing the right kind of nutritious diet for her/him to be comfortable and healthy. This will, in turn, help the animal stay excited about things and more energetic on a regular basis.

  1. YOUR DOG WILL ALMOST NEVER SHOW S/HE IS IN PAIN

What does your dog do if they have a thorn stuck in their paw after a walk? Do they howl and limp around to let you know that they are hurting? Or do they sit in a corner and lick their paw without so much as a whine? Yep, option 2.

Dogs will never share their pain with you, only their joy. It’s a survival instinct, but it makes it more difficult for you to know when they’re hurting. You may still notice the limp when your dog’s paw hurts, but what about when their stomach aches. Or when they feel weak or the hip hurts?

It’s important that your dog has a balanced diet to ensure that every part of their body is in healthy - just like we try to keep our stomach healthy, bones strong and organs in top condition by eating a balanced diet. A little off, and issues like weakness, nausea, aches, pimples, etc crop up. Well, dogs are no different - a bit more resilient than us, but also dependent on us to ensure they feel hale and hearty.

  1. YOUR DOG THINKS, FEELS AND DESIRES!

Remember last weekend when you were craving some pasta? Just like us, our dogs have feelings, they have thoughts and they have desires. They might feel like eating a lot of the times in the day if you don’t provide them with enough food or food in the right routine and schedule.

Only providing enough isn’t the key, providing what the dog needs for proper well being are to be considered. This will make your dog less anxious, less cranky and less moody. Check on your pet’s desires, give them a treat sometime or maybe some special kind of food that is their personal favourite.

If your pet sees his/her food bowl full with his/her favourite food items once in a while, they are sure to be happier and mentally satisfied. After all, food is indeed the way one’s heart!

  1. YOUR DOG LOVES YOU UNCONDITIONALLY, YOU SHOULD LET THEM EXPRESS THEMSELVES AND THEIR LOVE

May it be when you come back from that long trip or a tiring day at school or work, your doggo welcomes you with the utmost love and affection. They love you unconditionally and relentlessly.

Providing your dog with proper food items that are healthy yet tasty at the same time will make your dog happier. As you feed them every time with all your love showering upon your loved doggo, s/he will most definitely be grateful that s/he has you. When you feed them the right amount of food with the correct nutrition at exact times of the day, they will not have any illnesses or bodily difficulties to deal with and hence focus on fun things like playtime or nightly cuddles.

Feeding your dog properly not only makes them happier, but they can also express their love for you in a better manner. They are generally more enthusiastic, excited and stress-free when given proper food with enough affection from your side.

Just remember, feeding more is not the solution, feeding right is. Stay tuned for more blog post on this space that will help you provide for your doggo in the best way possible,
